Last, but by no means least, of today’s announcements, is that former England Sevens player, Seb Nagle-Taylor, will be a Hartpury RFC player next season.
Seb joins us from Rotherham Titans in National League 1 where, by all accounts, he has had an excellent season. So much so, in fact, that both the club’s supporters and his fellow players voted him as ‘Player of the Season’ at their recent awards dinner.
The player, 24, has also had spells with Championship clubs Ealing Trailfinders and Jersey Reds and will be a good addition to the back row resources at the Gillman’s Ground. He was centrally contracted by England Rugby as a member of the national sevens squad in the 2015-16 season.
“Seb is a skilful and strong, ball-carrying back row forward,” said Hartpury’s DoR, John Barnes. “He’s had a good season as captain at Rotherham and has been one of the top try scorers in the league. We’re extremely happy to have signed him.”
