Hartpury have made six changes to their starting fifteen and are able to name a strong squad for Saturday’s crucial game with London Scottish. Depending on results elsewhere, Hartpury could potentially secure their Championship survival tomorrow.
Back into the line-up comes scrum-half Ben Vellacott – who missed last Sunday’s defeat at London Irish – and there is also a second start of the season for back row forward and former student, Lewis Ludlow.
The pack shows further changes as Rupert Harden, Will Tanner and Alex Craig all return after missing last week’s fixture.
The midfield sees the restoration of a combination well-known to Hartpury fans, as Steve Leonard resumes his partnership with Luke Eves. Leonard has had a shocking time with injury for pretty much all of Hartpury’s Championship existence, but his return is timely for a game that the Red & Blacks simply have to win.
There is also a strong bench, which includes on-loan Bristol tight-head, Jake Armstrong, among a number of more familiar faces.
Tomorrow’s game kicks off at 2.30pm.
