Hartpury relatively settled ahead of Friday’s visit by Nottingham Rugby

Hartpury will keep a settled look for the visit of Nottingham Rugby to the ALPAS Arena on Friday night.

The back division is completely unchanged, with young wingers Nick David and Toby Fricker both being praised by DoR, John Barnes, after last week’s trip to Newcastle Falcons.

There is some turn-over among the forwards, much of it rotational, with Alex Gibson returning at tight-head and lock forward Justin Clegg – now recovered from a head knock suffered in the Championship opener against the Knights – also back into the line-up.

The back row sees a re-shuffle, with dual-registered Wasps youngster, Kieran Curran, stepping up from last week’s bench to make his first start in Red & Black.  Seb Nagle-Taylor, one of the successes of the season so far, is also restored to the staring fifteen, alongside the consistent Will Safe.

The bench sees the inclusion, for the first time in this campaign, of hooker Beck Cutting, while also returning is centre Joe Margetts, who was rested last week.

Iain Grieve, yet to appear this season, remains side-lined, alongside Rupert Harden, Akapusi Qera and Dan Koster.  Will Tanner is also unavailable for selection this week.

Friday’s match kicks off at 7.45pm.
