We are happy to announce that the Championship home fixture, previously scheduled for December 18, 2021, but postponed due to covid cases, will now be be played on Saturday, 5th February, with a usual 2.30pm kick off. This was a reserve weekend set aside by the RFU for just such an eventuality.
Any ticket holders for the original fixture should have had all payments refunded. Please note that tickets for the revised date are now available for advanced purchase HERE
It is always an attractive fixture which sees the Red & Blacks go head to head with one of the Championship’s heavy hitters and, with Trailfinders many people’s favourites for promotion to the Premiership, it may be our last chance for a while to test ourselves against old friends from West London.
As an added attraction, we will be showing the Scotland v England game from Murrayfield in this year’s Guinness Six Nations on our big screens, so you are more than welcome to stick around and make a full afternoon of the event.
Pre-match hospitality/catering is available for this game – please contact email@example.com to make bookings. In fact, with hospitality completely sold out for all other games, this is your last chance to entertain your friends, family or customers in style!
This announcement means that our remaining line-up of RFU Championship home fixtures is as follows: London Scottish (Friday 21st January, 7.45pm), Ealing Trailfinders (as above), Jersey Reds (Saturday 12th February, 1.30pm) and Ampthill RFC (Saturday 26th February, 2.30pm). Be here!
The conclusion of the league season will be followed by further fixtures in the cup competition, yet to be formalised.
We also hope to be able to announce a revised date for our away trip to Cornish Pirates, postponed from Boxing Day, very shortly.
