We’ve got a busy afternoon of player announcements coming up, so stay tuned!
The first good news of the day is that experienced scrum-half, Luke Carter, will be joining Hartpury RFC for the 2019-209 season.
He joins us from Ealing Trailfinders, who he joined in the 2016-17 season and for whom he has made almost 60 appearances despite having an injury disrupted campaign in 2018-19.
Originally from the Berkshire area, Luke had involvement with both London Irish – at academy level – and Bath, for whom he played A-League rugby whilst studying at the local university.
He also spent time in his early career with Cinderford, before spells at Henley and Rosslyn Park lead to him getting a chance at Championship level with Rotherham Titans.
DoR, John Barnes said, “We are delighted to have signed a player of Luke’s quality. His experience of playing at the top end of the Championship, with Ealing, will make him a great asset for us.”
Welcome, Luke.
