Hartpury name side to face Ulster A

Hartpury welcome Ulster A to the Gillman’s Ground on Saturday for game three of the British & Irish Cup.  Kick-off is at 2.30pm and the match will be followed by the Gloucester-Hartpury Women playing DMP Sharks in the Tyrell’s Premier 15s (4.30pm).

Will Tanner picked up a shoulder injury in last week’s fixture with Ealing, so Will Crane gets an opportunity at hooker, with England Under-20 international Joe Mullis coming onto the bench.  Josh Ibuanopke also gets a start at tight-head.

There is some rotation in the back row, where former student and current Gloucester Academy player, Aaron Hinkley, makes his debut on the open-side for Hartpury’s senior XV.

Lloyd Evans will make his first Hartpury appearance since the 2015-16 season when he starts at fly half.  Evans has appeared four times for Gloucester Rugby this season, including a full 80 minutes against Leicester Tigers in the Anglo-Welsh Cup as well as twice in this season’s Aviva Premiership.

In further changes from last week, Ed Coulson comes in at full-back whilst Alex Ducker returns on the right wing.
