Hartpury have named a settled side for the visit of Yorkshire Carnegie tomorrow.
Dan Koster steps in to replace the absent Charlie Powell as the only change behind the scrum, which means a second start for former student Jake Morris, who scored on his Championship debut in last week’s 44-17 win over London Scottish. Koster returned to play in that game after missing most of the early season through injury.
There is also a single change in the forwards, as Will Safe steps up to the second row in a mobile-looking unit. There he joins Joe Batley in a combination that played together in Hartpury’s Under-18 AASE-winning team of 2014.
There is some further pace and mobility on the bench this week, as Aaron Hinkley, another former Hartpury AASE player, is named for his first Hartpury outing of 2019-20. The youngster made a good impression for Gloucester Rugby in the early-season Premiership Cup matches.
Otherwise the replacements are all players who have featured recently, with Tiff Eden again available after scoring his first try for the club in the Exiles match.
The game is scheduled for 2.30pm, although will be subject to a PITCH INSPECTION, at the Alpas Arena, later today.
